Hoan Kiem Lake means “Lake of the Returned Sword” and known as Ho Guom, is one of the most major scenic spots in Hanoi City. Near the Northern of the lake is Jade Island with Ngoc Son Temple and near the center is The Turtle Tower standing on a small island.

The One Pillar Pagoda is a historic Buddhist temple which is the one of most iconic temple in Vietnam. It was built by Ly Thai Tong Emperor with Thien Tue monk’s help.
The temple is built of woods on a single stone pillar and designed to resemble a blossom lotus in a muddy pond, which is Buddhist symbol.

The last is Hanoi’s Old Quarter. It has the old atmosphere and original architecture of Hanoi. It devised into 36 streets, each street had household specializing in a particular trade such as silk, jewelry or food. In center of the Old Quarter is a night market which opens for business every Friday to Sunday evening.
