Day 01: Indochina tours: Phnom Penh Arrival (D) – Private tour.
Viet Flame Tours’s Driver and Tour guide picks up from the airport and transfer to the hotel check in, Dinner at local Restaurant, Overnight in Phnom Penh
Day 02: Indochina tours: Phnom Penh City Tour (B/L/D) – Private tour.
AM: Our first site to visit will be the Royal Palace, the incredible solid silver-floored Silver Pagoda is the pagoda which in the Royal Palace campus, where have thousands of silver tiles on the floor of pagoda and have the biggest golden Buddha statue. Silver Pagoda is in the Royal Palace Compound made of 5000 silver tiles. Raung Damrei Museum, National Museum, a treasure chest of Angkorian and pre-Angkorian artifacts; Next, proceed to Wat Phnom pagoda a 15th century stupa. Wat Phnom, a small hill crowned by an active wat (pagoda) marks the legend of Phnom Penh City.
PM: Our last destination would be at Toul Sleng Prison Museum and the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek-both grim reminders of Cambodia’s bloody past under Pol Pot. It is almost inconceivable to confront the nature of true evil here in this gentle land, but the Buddhist memorial at Choeung Ek, commemorates the 1.7 million victims of the 1975-79 Pol Pot regime. This excursion may prove distressing for some. It is, however, an important piece of this country’s historical and cultural puzzle. Overnight at hotel in Phnom Penh
Day 03: Indochina tours: Phnom Penh – Siem Reap by flight (B/L/D) – Private tour.
Breakfast at hotel, we transfer to Siem Reap by flight. Up on arrival at Siem Reap transfer to hotel check in, after check in we visit the floating village of Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. We take a boat trip in a traditional wooden boat on the Tonle Sap Lake, the “Great Lake” of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia. We will continue to a primary school for exchange activities such as painting class, playing football, dancing class with local students. Here you can make donation to the school or the students as you wish to. We will continue to “Chantiers Ecoles – Les Artisans d’Angkor” which provides training to young Cambodians in an effort to revive the ancient Khmer traditions of stone carving and wood sculpting. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 04: Indochina tours: Siem Reap Tour (B/L/D) – Private tour.
Breakfast at hotel: Start your sightseeing tour of Angkor area we spend a full day exploring the wondrous ancient ruins with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the largest as well as the most complete temple of Angkor Wat. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares. We stroll around this massive edifice, seeing the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple and the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm is an incredible sight. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man’s creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature. Day 05: Indochina tours: Drive to Ving Long, Can Tho-Mekong Delta (B/L) – Group tour.
Morning, pick up at your hotel and transfer about 136km to Vinh Long, a riverside town located in the Mekong Delta. Enjoy a boat cruise to the Cai Be floating market with sellers and buyers bargaining and exchanging goods from their boats, and then go to Binh Hoa Phuoc islet where the maze o shady creeks will surely fascinate you. You will have a chance to mighle with local peasants; learn the secrets of their bonsai gardening. Visit local homes where the families produce tiles and ceramics; drop into rice-paper kiln and coconut-candy kiln; and observe daily country life. A typical Vietnamese lunch at a local home will be arranged.
Afternoon, drive to Can Tho and check in hotel. In the evening, wandering around the night market will be recommended for you to have some evening exercise after dinner. Overnight in Can Tho.
Day 06: Indochina tours: Can Tho, Drive to Saigon (B/L) – Group tour.
Rise early morning for a private boat trip to take part in the Cai Rang floating market. Your boat will start from Ninh Kieu and sail along the Can Tho River. You will enjoy watching bustling activities along Can Tho riverbanks. Particularly, you may know how local people go fishing with plenty of fish traps and how they transport passengers as well as products by waterway. Then take part in Cai Rang Floating Market to enjoy selling & buying activities with the traditional signal “offering pole” (exchanging goods hung on the pole to introduce people what the boat is selling). To understand more about lifestyle over here, keep on going into the small creeks called Rach Nho in which the Southern countryside can be seen clearly before cruising back to Ninh Kieu Wharf.
After Lunch in Can tho, we depart back to Ho Chi Minh city. Overnight in Sai Gon.
Day 07: Indochina tours: Half Day Saigon City Tour, Flight to Hoian (B/L/D) – Private tour.
Flight: Domestic flight
In the morning, you will visit the Cu Chi Tunnel to see the complicate tunnel system the Vietnamese built in the war time. In the afternoon, drive back to the city and visit the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Saigon Pot Office, the Chinatown of the city with the Emperor Jade Pagoda (Phuoc Hai).
Fly to Danang and check in hotel in Hoian. Upon arrive in Hoi an, you will be pick up by your private local guide and driver and transfer you to hotel. Overnight in Hoi an.
Day 08: Indochina tours: Full Day Hoian-Relax on Beach (B/L) – Private tour.
AM: Enjoy a short Bicycle tour to visit Tra Que vegetable villages & cooking class.
PM: Free at leisure to relax on the beautiful beach of Hoi an. Overnight in Hoi an.
Day 09: Indochina tours: Full Day – My Son Holy Land & Hoian Ancient Town (B/L) – Group tour
08:00 am: Local guide pick you up at the hotel’s lobby an depart for the ancient Chamruins of My son. Once there ,visit the Tra Kieu capital which was the the formeradministration centre of champa kingdom.Discover the majestic ancient ruins at My son including ancient towers which were built from 4th C.Then go to the dock and board on boat cruise along Thu Bon river back to hoian with picnic lunch. On the way we will stop at Carpentry village, Pottery village and Cam Ha fish market. Overnight in Hoi an.
Day 10: Indochina tours: Hoi An – Cu Lao Cham island (B/L) – Group tour
8:00: Local tour guide pick up you at the hotel’s lobby, you will be transfered to Cua Dai harbour to register with the Border Police before heading to the islands.when Arriving in the island, your guide will take you to the showroom where the history, map, objects are displayed. visiting Au Thuyen where the local boats are hidden in big storms, walking along the rice field to the over-100-years-old temple of Hai Tang.
9:50 –11:00: back to the boat for snorkeling for half an hour at Xep beach. Here you can swim, see the forest of nice coral under the sea, then go to Chong beach for lunch and relax.
14:00: back to Cua Dai estuary where out vihicle will take you back to Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 11: Indochina tours: Hoi An – Da Nang – Hue City tour (B/L/D) – Private tour.
7:00 Local guide pick up you at the hotel’s lobby and then depart for Hue. On the way, you will stop at Hai Van pass to have a spectacular view back along the coast to Da Nang. Continue to Hue along some of the most winding roads in Viet Nam which glory in the best sea views in Central Viet Nam. Once in Hue, visit the ancient capita before taking a boat to the beautiful Thien Mu pagoda. Have lunch in a local restaurant. Visit the royal tombs of Khai Dinh or Tu Duc. these are two among the 13 kings of the Nguyen dynasty which lasted from 1802 until 1945. Overnight in Hue city.
Day 12: Indochina tours: Hue Villages tour (B/L) – Private tour.
07:30am: You will be picked up by cyclo at your hotel in the center of Hue city, transfer to Toa Kham wharf.
08:00am: Take a dragon boat with the tour guide along Perfume river toward Thuy Bieu village.
09:00am: From Phu Wharf, you keep cycling along verdant paths visit Nguyen Phuoc Toc worship palace, Luong Quan temple and visit local people’s daily life.
09:45am: Visiting ancient houses, called “nha Ruong”, over 100 years.
10:30am: Taking part in daily activities with the local people such as making sesame candy and processing
rural dishes.
12:00noon: Enjoy sesame candy and have lunch with Vietnamese traditional family. Dishes are made from local materials by skillful hand of woman of poetic Hue. Taking a rest.
02:00pm: Riding bicycle visit Than temple- worship Mai-am princess, the daughter of Minh Mang king in the pass.
03:00pm: Leaving Thuy Bieu village to come back to city. Don’t forget to say thanks to friendly people and skillful woman, who gave you an impressive experience in Vietnam countryside. On the way come back to Hue city, we stop to visit Tiger Arena (Ho Quyen) and Screaming Elephants Altar (Voi Re), Long Tho pagoda, Long Tho market, … Tour guide also introduces to you about Hue Railway station, Ho Chi Minh museum, Quoc Hoc school.
06:00pm: Biking toward the city. Overnight in Hue
Day 13: Indochina tours: Hue – Phong Nha cave full day tour (B/L) – Group tour.
Depart from Hue for 2 and half hours to Phong Nha Caves. On the way we stop to visit some of the most famous battle-field in Vietnam War, Ben Hai River, Hien Luong Bridge, lying in the Demilitarized Zone of the Vietnam war. Have a lunch at at local restaurant then getting on boat and cruise along the river to Phong Nha Cave. The deeper one penetrates, the more magical are the natural aspects of the caves. After on boat for 700m, a large dry passage is appear, then you can walk to discover the cave for 500m more. You will have a chance to explore the remain of Cham Altars and Inscriptions inside. Return to Hue in the late afternoon and we arrive in Hue at 8pm. Overnight in Hue.
Day 14: Indochina tours: Hue Departure (B)
Go shopping or just relax before we transfer you to airport for departure to next destination. The package tour with Viet Flame Tours wil be finished.
