Day 1: Saigon – Arrival

Arrive at Tan San Nhat airport. Driver and Tour guide of Viet Flame Tours will Transfer to your hotel.

Over night at hotel in Saigon.

Day 2: Saigon city tour (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel. Start a sightseeing tour to the Reunification Palace and some French colonial structures including Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Central Post Office. Tour of Chinatown and Thien Hau & Quan Am pagodas. After seeing the Emperor Jade Pagoda and the War Remnants Museum, we end the city tour with Ben Thanh market where anything and everything is for sale.

Overnight in Saigon.

Day 3: Saigon – My Tho – Ben Tre (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel. Pick up at hotel and transfer to My Tho. Take the experience boat through Bao Dinh natural canal and see the stilt houses and the fruit plantation along the canal sides. Visit the My Tho wholesale fruit market. Proceed to the Tortoise island. Lunch served in the heart of the orchard. Enjoy a boat ride through the Tan Thach natural canal in Ben Tre, cruising under the shadows of the water coconut trees. Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle. After trekking through the fruit plantation in Thoi Son island, enjoy a rowing boat ride on the creeks before returning to My Tho. Road trip back to Saigon.

Day 4: Saigon – Da Nang – Hoi An (B, L) – by flight

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Tan San Nhat airport from where you will board flight to Da Nang. Our guide and car pick you up and transfer to your hotel in Hoi An. In the afternoon, visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, the Pottery Museum, Tan Ky old house, the Cantonese congregation, the silk street of Hoi An, the temples and pagodas built in Chinese style.

Day 5: Hoi An – Free and Relaxing

Day 6: Hoi An – Hue (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Hue via Da Nang, visit the Marble mountain, the Cham museum. Stop for photos at the Hai Van pass, Lang Co beach. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Dong Ba market, the Imperial Citadel from where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945, and the ruins of the Purple Forbidden City. Enjoy the night boat trip enlivened by a performance of Hue folks songs.

Day 7: Hue city tour – Hanoi (B, L) – by flight

Breakfast at the hotel. Take the morning boat trip to visit the royal tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, Thien Mu pagoda and mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang, in a setting of gardens and lakes. Lunch at local restaurant. Transfer to airport for boarding flight to Hanoi. Pick up at Noi Bai airport by Viet Flame Tours‘s guide and car, transfer to your hotel in the Old Quarter.

Day 8: Hanoi city tour (B, L)

You are met at 08:30 in the hotel lobby. There is a morning and afternoon schedule, as well as an organised lunch.

Morning visit: Ho Chi Minh Complex including the Mausoleum, The Temple of Literature – Vietnam’s first university dating back to 1070, A local Vietnamese lunch.

Afternoon: A traditional performance of the famous Vietnamese water puppets, Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake, Walking  tour through the narrow, chaotic streets of the Old Quarter – a must for any visitor to Hanoi!

You will finish city tour round 17:00. Come back hotel.

Day 9: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Hanoi (B, L)

7.40 – 8.10: Pick up from Hanoi. Drive to Halong Bay. Short break on the way.

12.30: Arrive habour. Transferred by tender to Cruise – enjoy welcome drink. Receive cruise briefing, check into cabins and begin your cruise.

13.15 – 13.30: Having lunch – delicious Vietnamese set menu (Massage service is available after lunch and thoughout the cruise on your order).

15.00: Head to Bai Tu Long Bay, pass the towns of Hon Gai and Cam Pha, Oan Lagoon,Mat Quy Islet (Monster Head) and Am Tich Islets(Teapot) and Vung Vieng Village.

Visit the Vung Vieng fishing village by local rowing boat (01 hour) or Kayak into the village then return to the vessel for your leisure or join one of the following optional activities: Sunbathing, traditional massage, swimming etc.

17.00: Drop anchor in the calm water surrounded by islets near Drum Cave. Happy Hour (sunset party)

18.30: Vietnamese cooking demonstration on boat.

19.15: Sumptuous Set-dinner onboard

21.00: Relaxing on your cabin or join the on board activities: film entertainment, light music for dancing in the dining room (please book in advance with your tour guide), board games and playing cards are available, and massage services are available. Passengers may also try their luck at squid fishing from the boat.

Day 10: Halong Bay- Hanoi (B, L)

6.15: Starting your day with Tai Chi on the Sundeck while complimentary tea & coffee are served..

7.00: Have breakfast in dinning room.

8.00: Explore the Surprise Cave or Sung Sot Cave.

8.15: Transfer by tender to the Surprise Cave. Walk up about 100 steps to the cave entrance and tour the cave for approximately 45 minutes. Walk down about 100 steps and return to the boat.

10.00: Upon return to the boat you will have 30 minutes to freshen up and finish packing. Please remove all of your belongings from the cabins, you may leave heavy luggage outside of the cabins (staff will transfer directly to the pier).

10.30: Enjoy Set Menu for lunch in the dining room. Relax on the sundeck or in the dining room enjoying the bay scenery as we approach the pier.

11.30 – 12.00: Arrive at Habour. Transfer by tender to the pier, relax inside the Paloma Office while waiting for return transportation

16:00 -16.30: Arrive in Hanoi.

Day 11: Hanoi – Hoa Lu Trang An (B,L)

Discover the Hoa Lu Ancient Capital and Trang An- Eco tourism complex.

Depart: 08:00

Meet you at your hotel and departure to Ninh Binh province. After 2 hours ride in the car, we will stop to visit the Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, formerly the capital for 41 years ( 968- 1009), of which the first 12 years was under the Dinh dynasty- King Dinh Tien Hoang and the following 29 years was under the Le dynasty – King Le Dai Hanh. Here, stand two temples dedicated to King Dinh and King Le.

Have lunch at a local restaurant,

And then we will take an amazing boat trip to visit Trang An caves, which known as Halong Bay on Land with a gathering of 31 valleys, 50 cross- water caves. And home to 600 kinds of flora and over 200 kinds of fauna, many of them in Red Book of Vietnam. While over 2hours rowing through Trang An caves in the quite fresh air of the highlands, with the sound of birds chirping, the oars stirring the clear water, and the magnificent forested mountains surrounding where white goats grazing, you can enjoy heaven on earth.
