Morning: Sunrise over the bay & Advance into the core area

06:30 – 07:00: Start the day with a Tai Chi exercise on the sundeck, enjoying the first rays of sunlight, or freely admire the pristine early morning bay view.

07:00 – 07:45: Enjoy a light breakfast (tea, coffee, pastries, cereal) at the restaurant.

08:30: Transfer to a Day Boat . This compact vessel will allow you to easily navigate through narrow caves and limestone islands that larger cruise ships cannot access. The boat begins its journey further northeast of Bai Tu Long Bay.

Afternoon: Kayaking, swimming & lunch in the heart of the heritage site.

09:30 – 11:30: Experience water sports activities at the Empty Area or the Dam Canal Area :

• Kayaking: Enjoy the freedom of paddling through pristine caves and exploring secluded lakes surrounded by towering limestone cliffs.
• Free swimming: If the weather is favorable, the ship will stop at a natural sandy beach (such as Ban Chan beach) so you can swim in the crystal-clear water and enjoy the feeling of having your own “private beach”.

12:00 PM: Enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch or fresh seafood prepared directly on board, while savoring the absolute tranquility amidst the sea and sky.

Afternoon: Explore the mysterious caves or Red Canal Island.

13:30 – 15:00: Continue the exploration journey:

• Option 1: Visit Thay Cave – a pristine cave with a mysterious beauty untouched by mass tourism, where you will hear a guide introduce you to the unique geological history of the bay area.
• Option 2: Explore the ecological areas around Cong Do Island , and admire the pristine coral reefs (if the tide is low enough).

15:30: The boat will take you back to the main cruise ship (Mother Cruise) . You have time to relax in your cabin, shower, or unwind on the sundeck.

17:30 – 19:00: Enjoy a second Sunset Party on the deck with refreshing drinks and snacks. You can also participate in an evening cooking class if you wish to showcase your skills in preparing Vietnamese dishes.

Evening: Dinner Party & Second Overnight Stay

9:15: Enjoy a luxurious dinner at the restaurant with a brand new menu prepared by the head chef.

8:30 PM – 10:30 PM: Relax at the outdoor bar, join the crew for night squid fishing, or simply head to the sundeck to gaze at the tranquil starry sky, concluding a perfect day of exploration. Second night on the bay.

Morning: Explore the beauty of Vung Vieng Floating Fishing Village.

06:30 – 07:00: Enjoy a peaceful sunrise over the bay with a Tai Chi exercise or freely take photos of the mist on the water’s surface.

07:00 – 07:30: Enjoy a light breakfast (tea, coffee, pastries) at the restaurant to recharge your energy.

07:45 – 09:15: Transfer to a small boat/canoe to visit Vung Vieng Floating Fishing Village – the largest symbol of riverine culture in Bai Tu Long Bay:

• Take a boat ride in a traditional bamboo-rowed boat: You’ll glide past floating houses, old floating schools, and pearl farming areas.
• Cultural experience: Talk to locals to understand how they live, cast their nets, and preserve their maritime culture before moving inland to settle.

09:30: Return to the main cruise ship, pack your luggage and check out at the reception desk.

Lunch: Brunch on the Bay & Docking

0 9:45 – 10:45: Enjoy an early lunch (Brunch) buffet at the restaurant as the cruise ship leisurely sails past limestone mountains towards the mainland.

11:00 – 11:30 : The cruise ship docks at Ha Long International Port (or Hon Gai). Staff will assist you with luggage retrieval and disembarkation.

Afternoon: Cultural journey to the Ninh Binh Heritage region .

(Following the logical progression of the 5-day, 4-night heritage tour combo, after leaving Bai Tu Long Bay, the vehicle will take you to Ninh Binh to experience the culture of a Northern Vietnamese village.)

12:00 PM: A limousine will pick you up from Ha Long port and depart for Ninh Binh (approximately 3 hours of travel through the Red River Delta provinces).

15:30: Arrive in Ninh Binh, check into a local homestay or resort (such as in Tam Coc or Trang An ) featuring traditional Vietnamese village architecture.

4:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Cycling to explore the ancient village: Borrow a bicycle from your accommodation and leisurely cycle through the village roads, admiring the rice fields, traditional three-compartment houses, and visiting an ancient temple nestled against a limestone cliff.

Evening: Enjoy the cuisine of the ancient capital.

7:00 PM: Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant with regional specialties such as Ninh Binh crispy rice , mountain goat meat , and mountain snails cooked in fermented rice sauce.

8:30 PM: Free time to stroll through the ancient Hoa Lu town, illuminated by lanterns at night, or relax amidst the tranquil countryside.

08:00 – 09:30: You don’t need to wake up too early. Take your time to watch the sunrise, breathe in the fresh air of the Northern Vietnamese countryside, and enjoy a buffet breakfast at the resort.

09:30 – 11:30: Time dedicated entirely to relaxation:

• Relax by the pool: Sunbathe or swim in the resort’s infinity pool with stunning views of the towering limestone cliffs or lush green rice fields.
• Spa experience : Treat yourself to a traditional acupressure massage or herbal foot soak to relieve all the fatigue from the previous days of kayaking.

12:00 – 13:30: Enjoy a light lunch with wholesome, organic dishes made from local produce at the resort’s restaurant.

2:00 PM – 3:30 PM: Relax in your private cabin/villa. You can read a book on the patio or take a deep nap in absolute tranquility.

 Afternoon: Leisurely bike ride & watching the sunset over the countryside.

4:00 PM – 5:30 PM: When the daytime sun has softened, you can leisurely cycle along the winding paths beside the Ngo Dong River or around the lotus ponds.

• There’s no fixed schedule; you can simply stop anywhere to photograph herds of buffalo grazing, farmers returning from work, or just admire the golden sunset descending behind the limestone mountains.

18:00: Return to the resort, pack your bags and complete the late check-out procedure (if supported) or prepare for your return journey. A limousine will pick you up to depart for Hanoi (approximately 2 hours of smooth highway travel).

Evening: Return to quiet Hanoi.

20:00: Arrive in Hanoi, check into a quiet boutique hotel in the Old Quarter.

8:30 PM: Enjoy a light dinner with refreshing eel vermicelli or chicken pho . Take a leisurely stroll around the breezy Hoan Kiem Lake at night, then return to your room to rest, concluding a perfectly relaxing day.

Morning: Enjoy the flavors of old Hanoi.

8:00 – 9:00: Start your day leisurely like a true Hanoian: enjoy a steaming bowl of beef pho (Pho Thin Bo Ho , Pho Ly Quoc Su ) and savor a rich and creamy egg coffee at Cafe Giang or Cafe Dinh .

09:30 – 11:30: Take a relaxing walk and do some last-minute souvenir shopping in the Old Quarter:

• Stop by Hang Duong  Street to buy traditional candied fruits and jams.
• Head to Hang Gai Street if you want to buy high-quality silk products.
• Buy some Vong village’s traditional rice flakes or West Lake lotus tea as gifts for your family.

Lunch: Check out & Enjoy a delicious lunch in the Old Quarter.

11:30 AM: Return to the hotel to complete the check-out procedure . You can leave your luggage at the reception desk so you can continue sightseeing without having to carry heavy bags.

12:00 – 13:00: Enjoy lunch with Bun Cha (either Bun Cha Huong Lien or Bun Cha Dac Kim ) or fragrant Cha Ca La Vong .

Afternoon: Balcony coffee & Head to Noi Bai Airport

13:30 – 15:00: Visit a cafe with a balcony overlooking the Old Quarter or Hoan Kiem Lake (such as Ham Ca Map or the small cafes on Hang Hanh Street ). Enjoy the last moments of tranquility, watch the people go by, and reflect on your 5-day journey through the bay and heritage area.

15:30: Return to the hotel to collect your luggage. A shuttle (or Grab/Xanh SM taxi service) will pick you up and take you to Noi Bai International Airport (approximately 45 minutes travel time).
